What got you into this business in the first place?
A friend got me into Graphic and Interactive design.  From there it evolved into Web Design, then to Internet Marketing and Social Media.  As the internet has changed, I have tried to keep up and change with it.
 
Who was a big influence in your career?
People who do things the wrong way.  I like to learn from their mistakes.

What was “your finest moment,” the thing you’re most proud of?
My wife and kids.  Being a Dad is great.
 
What attracted you to Recipe 31?
The challenge of doing something new and different.

Do you have a method for coming up with ideas and solutions for clients?
I like to develop a list of core questions that needs answering and then answer them.

What makes a great brand?
A great brand provides something useful to its consumers.  Consumers are happy.  Brand is happy.

What driving career goals do you still have?

I am still young and the list is long.
 
What talent do you wish you had?
I am a decent guitar player but wish I was a great guitar player.

If you had to live on a desert island, what would you miss most?
Chocolate.

Is there any food that helps you think more creatively?
See above.  Especially when combined with peanut butter.

What’s your favorite sports team?
Any team that I am playing on, my Fantasy Football team or any team playing against the Bulls or Cowboys.

What frustrates you the most?
Bad drivers, long meetings that don’t accomplish anything, lazy people.

What’s your point of view about politics?

I want someone to run this country who is more concerned about doing what’s right for the country and less concerned about getting re-elected and being popular.

What was growing up like for you?

Third oldest  of seven children. Oldest of three boys.  Grew up mostly in Utah with a few years in California.

What’s your favorite TV program? And your least favorite?
Mythbusters.  Most anything else as I am not a big fan of TV, but especially any shows that I have to watch each week to keep up with.

What do you for a good time when you’re not working? When might that be?
Sports, guitar, camping.
